Carvalho Capital is an Ontario-based early stage angel capital firm.

We’re (socially conscious) foundersbuilders and designers who want to help others build purpose driven businesses.  As an SFO our typical investments range from $50,000 to $250,000.

We invest in A++ purpose driven founders who are building movements and products that excite and cause true disruption in #4IR.

We’ve lived through the First and Second Waves of the Internet; Building companies that achieved tremendous growth while taking care of our teams, community & investors.

Now the Third Wave of the Internet has begun integrating seamlessly and pervasively through every aspect of our lives, changing how we work, how we learn, how we stay healthy, how we get around and even how we eat.

Transformative impact will come from startups focused in some of the largest sectors such as robotics, AI, health, education, apparel & finance.

This next economic revolution will be fast & furious. Competition will accelerate and come from unpredictable places.

We want to engage with founders to help guide them through these 100,000 unpredictable landmines that may stop them from creating transformative impact. We believe the right team can improve a startup’s chances. Cooperation is the key to that success.

Most importantly,  we launched Carvalho Capital because we received our start because someone believed in us.  It’s our turn to return the favour.

“If you want to go quickly,  go alone, but if you want to go far, you must go together.”                                             ~African Proverb

We invest in entrepreneurship that harnesses’ #4IR and Social Impact best practices while believing in the democratization of innovation as a powerful force for sustainable change and social good.

Although we are heavily active in supporting entrepreneurship within Canada, we are actively being pitched by founders living outside our borders through our networks.
